Roses for the Dead Playing Cards
Roses for the Dead playing cards is a set consisting of illustrations to create a system. The face cards of the King & Queen contain a skull with dagger piercing through the mouth, the jack a skeleton hand holding a single rose and the joker as a skull with a joker hat. For each suite, the number cards have a single centered rose. Each illustration was hand drawn on tracing paper, scanned in, and refined on illustrator helping reach the desired look.
